Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: Dodford Manor, NN7 4SR
Pay: £14.55 per hour + holiday pay
Hours: Between 10 - 25 per week depending on functions booked with the opportunity for additional hours as business demand grows.
Working Days: Flexible – shifts may fall any day Monday to Sunday, depending on weddings and events.
Shift Times: Typically 7:30am – 1:00pm
About the Role
We are a family-run wedding and events venue looking for a reliable and organised Housekeeping Assistant / Supervisor to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role combining housekeeping duties with responsibility for supporting the day-to-day organisation of the housekeeping operation in the Manor House.
You will help maintain high standards across our guest accommodation and shared spaces, particularly following weddings and events, while also overseeing staff rotas and stock ordering to ensure the smooth running of the onsite accommodation.
Key Duties
- Cleaning guest rooms and shared areas to a high standard
- Changing linen and restocking guest supplies
- Supporting room turnaround following weddings and events
- Assisting with continental breakfast set-up
- Laundry management and stock organisation
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Providing a friendly and professional service to guests
- Preparing and managing housekeeping staff rotas
- Supervising housekeeping operations and supporting team members as required
- Managing linen orders and monitoring stock levels
- Ordering food and breakfast supplies to maintain adequate inventory
- Ensuring housekeeping stores are organised and fully stocked
- Assisting with the training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members
- Supporting the continued development and efficiency of housekeeping procedures
About You
- Reliable, organised, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, professional, and approachable
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual housekeeping duties
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
- Confident managing rotas, stock levels, and supplier orders
- Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or supervisory experience is essential
- Flexible and willing to work around the venue's event schedule
