Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced beauty therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years salon/spa experience, have excellent customer service and time-keeping skills. We are a very busy salon providing a wide range of treatments so every day is different. We pride ourselves in giving the very best quality treatments in a relaxed and laid-back environment.
Experience in eyelash extensions, intimate waxing and/or nail extensions are desirable but not essential.
Training provided where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences
- Build a good rapport with clients and establish regular clientele
- Provide a range of beauty services including waxing, nail treatments, brows, massages and facials to a high standard.
- Keep work areas clean and organised to maintain a professional salon environment
- Stay up-to-date with beauty trends and techniques to offer the latest services
- Book in clients and take payments after each treatment
- Communicate effective aftercare and sale of retail products where appropriate.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation for client safety
Requirements
- Proficient in English to interact with clients effectively
- Previous salon or spa experience is essential (2years+)
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment
- Must be available to work at least every other Saturday and one evening a week.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
