Woven Art is a well-established printing company providing high-quality print solutions to a wide range of customers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Design Team Assistant to join our Design/Commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the print/production industry and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Junior Design Team Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of our Design and Commercial department. Please note this is not an apprenticeship, this is a paid full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Printing samples for design team
- Producing print masters and master sheets
- Chasing up customer sample rolls
- Dispatching samples
- Tracking samples for customers
- Keeping meeting room presentable for meetings
- Organising sample lengths, over locking samples etc for fabric exhibitions
- Preparing show equipment – making sure all packed up, paint stand etc.
- Base packs for customers
- Keeping check on stock of sample pack headers/labels and other stationery
- Updating sample spreadsheet regularly
Skills & Experience Essential
- Good attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Reliable and punctual.
Desirable Skills:
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation
- Willingness to apply themselves to any task
- Knowledge of MS Office

Working Hours Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
