Overview
Gardener service - HMO
Provision of gardening for HMO property on an on-call basis. The gardener will attend the property only when required to maintain safe, tidy, and presentable outdoor areas for residents.
Duties
- Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weed removal from gardens, pathways, and communal outdoor areas
- Removal of garden waste and debris
- Sweeping and clearing leaves from pathways and entrances
- Ensuring outdoor areas remain safe and free from hazards
- Minor seasonal maintenance and general garden upkeep
Attendance Arrangement
- Services will be provided on an on-call basis
- Attendance will be requested by the property manager or landlord when maintenance is deemed necessary
- no fixed schedule is required
- Response time will be agreed in advance, typically within 24-48 hours for routine requests and sooner where health and safety issues arise.
Standards of work
- Maintain communal outdoor areas to a clean, safe, and presentable standard
- Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
- Use appropriate tools and equipment for the task required
- Dispose of green waste responsibly and in accordance with local regulations where ageed
Reporting back
- A brief summary of works completed
- Indication of any issues requiring further attention
- Recommendations for future maintenance where applicable
Purpose
This arrangement ensures the HMO's external areas remain well maintained while avoiding unnecessary routine visits, providing a cost-effective solution tat responds to the property's actual maintenance needs.
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
