Sykes Capital is the property investment vehicle of a family office based in Reading. Sykes Capital invests in and manages a wide range of property asset classes, including residential, retail/leisure, and offices, with the majority of assets situated in Reading.
Sykes Capital are looking to employ a further in-house maintenance engineer to join the existing maintenance team of two people.
The day to day maintenance work will be wide ranging, but include:
- Reactive maintenance repairs following reports from tenants.
- Routine basic landscaping / general groundskeeping across various sites.
- Repairs / minor improvements / re-decorations to void properties in between tenancies.
- Other improvement projects across the portfolio.
A company van will be provided to the successful candidate to use for travel to / from work along with travel between jobs during the working day.

Sykes Capital are a small, tight knit, and nimble team, and it is therefore important that the successful candidate is a strong team player with good communication skills, but also disciplined to be able to work independently when required.
The standard working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) per year.
