Our busy and established Chippenham Veterinary Hospital, are looking for a veterinary care assistant. You will be empathetic and be compassionate about animal care; someone who strives to deliver the very best service for our animals and clients. You will need to be a team player but have the ability to work independently.
This is a full-time role working Mon-Fri 2pm-11pm (1hr un-paid lunch)

Job description – Monday - Friday VCA
The role involves animal handling, supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice, as well as front of house responsibilities; phone answering, booking appointments, welcoming clients, and taking payment.
Experience
- Previous veterinary experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Laboratory experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn laboratory procedures is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are important to ensure accurate record keeping and efficient clinic operations.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners is essential for success in this role. This position offers an enriching environment for those eager to develop their skills within the veterinary field while contributing positively to animal health and welfare.
