WHEN IS A JOB NOT A JOB?
Do you wake up in the morning and look forward to going to work? Let's face it, we all spend most of our lives working, so it might as well be a fun and rewarding experience.

WHEN IT'S A CAREER
There's nothing worse than feeling like you're at a dead end, standing still. We don't want you to stand still, we want the exact opposite. We want you to want to progress, and we'll support you, help you grow and reward your successes along the way.
We operate performance-related pay. If you're driven, talented, knowledgeable and passionate about bikes and people and able to deliver an excellent customer experience, you'll progress quickly. In your first year, we evaluate your performance after 3, 6 and 12 months to help you reach your potential as fast as possible.
Salary £29,080 to £31,500 a year, performance related. Ideally you'll have three years plus in a busy bike shop, or be an avid cyclist from a comparable sales background.

WHEN YOU'RE PART OF THE FAMILY
The Bicycle Chain is family-run, with six stores across Yeovil, Taunton, Bridgwater, Weston-super-Mare, Bristol and Hereford, and it runs like a startup. We move quickly, we listen, and good ideas get acted on, whoever they come from. Spot something we could be doing better? Say so. The person who can change it is in the room.
And we mean the family bit. Every new bike we sell goes out with a bike pack that includes the owners' personal mobile numbers. Not a call centre, their actual phones. That's the standard we set for looking after our customers, and it's the same standard we apply to looking after the people who work here.
"I've worked for lots of big companies and sometimes you feel like you're just a number. That couldn't be further from the case at The Bicycle Chain." Olly, Taunton, 9 years.
