Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of animals in our care while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns to management
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process for pets, ensuring accurate records are kept.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field or Level 3 Animal Care qualification is required
- Dog grooming experience would be an advantage
- Physical capability to perform active tasks throughout the day.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Applicants must have a full driving licence and own transport

Hours
Hours are flexible depending on workload but with an earliest start of 7am and the latest finish of 6pm working 5 days out of 7 during busy periods
