We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse operative to join our friendly warehouse team at our Harlow site. The ideal candidate will play a key role in receiving, handling, and shipping pharmaceutical products, maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and ensuring high standards of safety and inventory management.
This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Accurately and efficiently receive, handle, and store pharmaceutical products.
- Safely and accurately move goods within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and ship client orders with precision and care.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the warehouse and across departments to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance and Safety
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Follow health & safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean and organised at all times.
Inventory Management
- Participate in regular stock audits and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and maintain proper storage conditions for pharmaceutical products.
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 10lbs/20kg).
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in warehouse conditions.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical warehousing is highly advantageous.
- Van driving and deliveries experience and full UK driving licence adventageous
