Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of all mechanical systems, leading a team of assistants, and implementing preventative maintenance programmes. Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing clear direction and support to ensure high standards of work.
- Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Manage repair projects, ensuring timely completion whilst minimising downtime.
- Utilise project management skills to coordinate maintenance activities across multiple departments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment performance data.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan maintenance activities around production schedules.
- Stay up-to-date with technological advancements in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a maintenance or engineering environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Supervising experience with a track record of leading technical teams effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in maintenance operations.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication across teams.
- Prior experience working with schematics and technical diagrams is essential. This role requires a dedicated professional with leadership qualities, technical proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems, and excellent organisational skills to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Pay: £28,080.00-£29,016.00 per year
