We're looking for a Front of House team member to join us part time.
The Role
You'll be a key part of the guest experience at La Tapa Loca — welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drink, and helping keep service running smoothly whether it's a quiet coffee morning or a lively evening in the bodega.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and seating guests, and managing table turnover during busy periods
- Taking food and drink orders accurately, with confidence recommending tapas and wine pairings
- Delivering friendly, attentive table service throughout brunch, lunch, and evening tapas service
- Operating the till and handling payments
- Communicating clearly with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the dining room and bar area
- Following allergen and food safety procedures when advising guests
- Supporting private events and functions as needed
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience working front of house in a restaurant or bar
- A genuine passion for food, wine, and hospitality
- Confident, friendly communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy service
- Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Right to work in the UK
Experience with Spanish or Mediterranean cuisine, or wine service, is a bonus but not essential — full training on our menu and wines will be provided.

- Pay: Starting at £12.71/hour, plus Tronc
