Isuria Group are a well-respected trading, feed and freight solutions provider established in 1996. We deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions to the agricultural and feed industries.
We are seeking a full-time Shift Operative to join our team at our Goole site, where we manufacture a wide range of animal feed products, including heat-treated and blended products for · Safe loading/unloading of raw materials and finished products using Telescopic FTL (loading shovel).
The successful applicant will be well motivated and willing to be a team player in a small effective and flexible team. The ideal candidate will have Telescopic FLT experience and be able to work to Company quality standards and be able to follow manufacturing instructions. They will play a vital role in ensuring smooth production processes during their assigned shift. This role operates a 48hour working week, Monday to Thursday, 6am-6pm/6pm-6am on a 2 week shift rotation.
Salary will be dependent on skills and experience. Advertised rate as a guide only.
Responsibilities
- Safe loading/unloading of raw materials and finished products using Telescopic FTL (loading shovel)
- Safe inspection and sampling of raw materials and finished products
- Maintain appropriate production records, cleaning records, delivery and collection records
- Ensuring that high levels of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained throughout the site
- Assist maintenance staff with breakdowns and routine/planned maintenance
- Deputise for Technicians in times of absence
- Provide cover for the weighbridge when required
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery is preferred.
- Telescopic FLT experience
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to work duties
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
