Weare recruiting a Fabric Technician to join the team located in London .
TheFabric Engineer / Technician is responsible for delivering high ‑ quality fabricmaintenance across the site, ensuring that all PPM tasks, KPIs and reactivejobs are completed to a high standard. The role includes painting anddecorating, minor repairs, general building fabric upkeep, small remedial worksand supporting the wider engineering team with maintaining a safe and well ‑ presented environment.You will act as a key point for day ‑ to ‑ day building upkeep while ensuring alltasks are completed through the CAFM system.
Role Summary:
Asa CBRE Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for proactive and reactivebuilding maintenance and repair services for client contracts. This job is partof the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsiblefor providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment andsystems.
Carry out planned preventativemaintenance (PPM) tasks and ensure all KPIs, SLAs and compliance deadlines aremet.
Complete minor fabric repairs includingfixing broken fixtures, fittings, doors, locks, tiles and general buildingfabric issues.
Undertake painting and decoratingduties such as touch ‑ ups, refreshing walls and maintaining overall site appearance.
Deliver small remedial works, basiccarpentry, plaster patching, tightening/replacing components and generalhandyman ‑ style tasks.
Move, assemble, relocate or reconfigureoffice and site furniture when required.
Respond promptly to reactivemaintenance requests, minimising disruption to the site.
Maintain tidy, safe and professionalwork areas, following all CBRE Health & Safety procedures.
Liaise with Engineers, Supervisors andthe site team to ensure PPMs, KPIs and reactive works stay on track.
Conduct regular building walkarounds toidentify defects early and proactively raise/fix issues.
Support the wider FM team withreasonable additional tasks to ensure smooth site operations.
Update and manage all work tasksthrough the CAFM system, ensuring accurate logging, status updates andcompletion notes.

Experience Required:
Experience in a fabric,building maintenance, handyman or general FM repair role.
Good understanding of basiccarpentry, decorating, minor repairs and general building maintenance.
Formal trade qualification ina building fabric discipline (e.g., Carpentry, Painting & Decorating,Plastering, General Building Maintenance).
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in arelevant trade (or equivalent experience).
Ability to work safely andfollow all Health & Safety procedures.
Strong communication skillsand ability to work well with clients and site teams.
Confident workingindependently and managing own workload.
Good organisational skills andattention to detail.
Ability to use or learn CAFMsystems for logging and updating tasks.
