Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pot Washer to join our busy kitchen team at our esteemed restaurant in Ramsgate . The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchenware, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and dry all pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following hygiene standards.
- Organise cleaned items for easy access by chefs and kitchen staff.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting the overall kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pot washing area, ensuring it remains hygienic and organised throughout shifts.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering establishments is desirable.
- Familiarity with basic culinary practices and hospitality standards will be beneficial.
