A&F Co. is seeking a skilled Associate Buyer to help execute wholesale strategies that complement and accelerate brand growth in the EMEA region. As an Associate Buyer working on one of our brands, you will play a pivotal role in curating and executing product strategy for our wholesale business expansion in the EMEA region. You will be part of the Buying team focused on building strategic product assortments and work closely with an Accounts team to sell the product lines to key buyers. Ensuring brand integrity while strategically growing the wholesale business will be critical. Additionally, you will collaborate with our merchandising, buying, and operations in the region and at our GHO.
This job is located at our EMEA Regional Home Office in London, UK.
What Will You Be Doing?

Assist in creating and implementing buying strategies for the wholesale channel, supporting brand expansion in the EMEA region

Report into the Wholesale Buying Lead in EMEA for one of our brands

Curate and influence product assortments being sold to Wholesale partners to drive sales growth that tie back to internal and external key strategies

Contribute to the brand go-to-market strategy within wholesale channel

Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with wholesale accounts, planning, marketing, and operations.

Maximize financial success of wholesale channel by hitting sales and gross margin plans (volume and rate)

Analyze sales trends, market trends, and customer data to inform strategic assortment decisions

Collaborate with Accounts team to influence and execute appropriate channel strategy

Closely track fashion trends and market shifts to build optimal product assortments
What Do You Need To Bring?

Experience in buying or related field, with a history of executing strategies

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams

Long-term strategic thinking skills

Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI experience and retail math and financial analysis

Strong statistical/quantitative analysis skills

Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and customer types/levels

Curiosity and interest to learn about customer profiles differ across global markets and cultures

Strong financial story telling ability, and desire to speak to larger audiences is needed

Excellent communication, prioritizing and problem-solving skills are a must

Ability to work in an environment with high level of change as the business grows

High level of flexibility, curiosity and willingness to learn is required
