Why This Role Matters
The Guidance and Education Systems unit at MaPS aims to improve the quality of money guidance being delivered through others to those in need across the UK. We do this by providing free professional development to organisations and practitioners who talk to their customers and service users about money. A key part of this work is to bring on board, support and maintain relationships with our growing number of Guidance and Education System partners across the UK.
The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing a defined portfolio of Guidance and Education System partners, bringing sector insight and specialist support to drive measurable improvement in the reach, quality and sustainability of money guidance through partners. The role supports the development, growth and effective management of partner relationships, helping partners to engage with learning, embed money guidance into their services, and use insight to improve delivery and impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
The Relationship Manager (Guidance & Education Systems) will report directly to Strategic Partnerships Lead and will be responsible for:
- Excellent communication, facilitation and matrix-working skills, with confidence engaging external stakeholders, adapting messages for different sector audiences and working across internal teams to deliver specialist, value adding support.
Desirable
- Experience within financial capability, financial wellbeing or money guidance, with an understanding of how partnership approaches can drive improved reach and impact.
- Experience working across complex, multi-stakeholder systems, such as public services, health, local & central government.
