Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry, ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers. Prior experience is valued, but full training will be provided for the right applicant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, following company standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and handling payments using POS systems.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas to uphold health standards.
- Manage multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality and speed of service.
- Support team members in ensuring smooth operation during shifts by sharing responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic food preparation skills are advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively.
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £10.90-£12.85 per hour
