Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental practice. Duties
- Assisting dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
- Ensuring patient comfort and providing support throughout dental treatments
- Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Sterilising dental instruments and managing stock levels of supplies
- Providing patients with pre- and post-treatment advice and instructions
- Recording patient details accurately using IT systems
- Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and updating patient records
- Upholding high standards of patient care, communication, and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in patient care and dental healthcare careers
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Basic IT skills for managing digital records and communication
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Prior experience in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Ability to work as part of a team with a professional attitude and attention to detail
