Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time General Warehouse / Goods Out Support to join our team.
This role involves assisting with the efficient handling, loading, and unloading of goods, ensuring smooth warehouse operations. It's a hands on role and can be manually demanding wrapping goods and assisting with deliveries.
The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, good organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods using appropriate handling techniques and equipment
- Support goods out activities to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of products
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Support general warehouse tasks including clearing waste and general tidy up also tasks such as packing, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific equipment use
- Ability to handle materials safely, including heavy lifting (up to 25kg) when necessary
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment and take direction
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the warehouse setting
