We're investing heavily in live commerce and are building our presence across Whatnot, eBay Live and other emerging live shopping platforms, with more channels planned as we continue to grow.
This is a rare opportunity to become one of the founding faces of Peeko's live commerce business and help shape its future from the very beginning. We're looking for someone who can entertain, engage, sell and build a loyal audience that keeps coming back for more.
The Role
As a Peeko Live Presenter, you'll host live shopping events, showcase products, interact with viewers and help turn casual browsers into loyal customers.
You'll be the person bringing products to life, creating excitement around great deals and helping to grow Peeko's audience across multiple live-selling platforms.
No two shows will be the same. One day you could be presenting premium beauty products, the next a range of household essentials, snacks, drinks, lifestyle products or limited clearance opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Hosting live shopping events and auctions across Whatnot, eBay Live and future live commerce platforms
- Demonstrating products in an engaging, entertaining and informative way
- Building excitement and urgency around great deals
- Interacting with viewers in real time and creating a sense of community
- Driving sales through personality, enthusiasm and strong communication skills
- Working with our buying and marketing teams to plan upcoming shows
- Helping grow follower numbers, audience engagement and repeat viewership
- Becoming a recognisable face of the Peeko brand
What We're Looking For
We're far more interested in personality than qualifications.
You may already have experience in presenting, streaming, retail, sales, content creation or live commerce. Equally, you may simply be someone with a natural ability to engage people and hold their attention.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Confident and comfortable on camera
- A natural entertainer who enjoys interacting with people
- Commercially minded with strong sales instincts
- Enthusiastic about products, bargains and discovering great deals
- Quick-thinking and able to react to live audience interaction
- Full of energy, personality and positivity
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Previous presenting, streaming or content creation experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
