We currently have a vacancy for a workshop assistant.
Your duties will include:
- General cleaning and tidying around the machines and the workshop assembly area.
- Toilets and kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
- General site maintenance and tidying of the outside gardens and car park.
- Waste processing duties.
- Receiving deliveries and checking them against delivery notes.
- Assisting the production staff in their furniture making duties.
- Assisting in our spray shop.
- Dependent upon the skill level the role could also include vehicle loading and forklift driving together with some basic machine maintenance and occasional off-site furniture installations.

- Overtime at an enhanced rate of pay is generally available.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
The ideal applicant will be flexible, well presented and be polite in a customer facing environment. Preferably (but not essential) hold a current CSCS card and clean driving license.
