We are looking for two friendly, professional, well organised team members with good communication skills to join our existing established team.
Some receptionist experience required and some pet knowledge preferable.
Veterinary receptionist duties
Greeting clients in a professional manner.
Answering telephone inquiries.
Organising routine, surgical and emergency appointments.
Ensure accuracy of invoices and collecting payment on the day of treatment.
Handle and update client data, recording relevant information in the practice system to support the clinical team.
Assist clients in handling insurance claims.
Provide excellent customer service, informing and educating clients sympathetically when required.
Ordering stocked items for the reception area.
Also maintain a clean reception area, this will include accidents left by our 4-legged visitors.
The hours required – both roles are part time
Receptionist 1: Monday 8-12, Tuesday 4-8, Thursdays 8-4, Fridays 12-8.
Receptionist 2: Tuesdays 12-4, Fridays 12-8.
Saturdays are required for both roles, Saturdays are 1 in, 2 off, 1 in, 3 off.
Flexibility and ability to help cover other staff absences preferable.
Holiday entitlement.
Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks pro rata including bank holidays. You will have an additional day added for every 3 years worked up to an additional working week off.
Pay rate
£12.78 per hour
And you will have a staff discount for your pets.
