About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join our friendly and professional team. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring patients receive accurate medications and excellent customer service.
Working Hours:
The hours we require are 9am-6pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Providing friendly and professional customer service to patients and customers
- Handling over-the-counter sales and offering appropriate advice (within your training)
- Managing stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and checking deliveries
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Keeping the pharmacy clean, organised, and efficient
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a UK pharmacy setting
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT skills
