About the Role
Cold Control Services Limited is looking for a dependable, motivated and hardworking individual to join our team on a fixed-term basis as a Driver / Trainee Engineer Assistant.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry whilst working alongside one of our experienced engineers. The role combines driving responsibilities with practical assistance on customer sites, making it an ideal entry point for someone looking to begin a career in a skilled engineering trade.
Based from Bordon, you will travel daily to customer sites across the South of England, supporting service, maintenance and repair activities.
Whilst this position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis, there is potential for the successful candidate to progress into a permanent Trainee Engineer position as experience and skills develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles to and from customer sites.
- Assist engineers with service, maintenance and repair work.
- Help load, unload and organise tools, equipment and materials.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Support engineers with site preparation and housekeeping.
- Complete basic paperwork and documentation as required.
- Represent Cold Control professionally when attending customer premises.
About You

- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a driving, construction, engineering or maintenance environment.
- Interest in refrigeration, air conditioning or engineering trades.
