Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients for cooking or serving
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned
- Organising storage areas, including fridges and cupboards, to maintain cleanliness and order
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during duties
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or working in a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and well-stocked
