Millsy’s is a modern, busy venue in the vibrant suburb of Earlsdon in Coventry. We have a vacancy for the position of Front of House Duty Manager to join our team, with shift patterns varying to look after our cafe bar during the daytime & weekday evenings, and our restaurant on the weekend.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual for this role.
You will need at least 1 years experience in a supervisory or management position.
This is an operational role and will suit someone with a hands on approach. You will report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers
- Dealing with customer queries and comments
- Training and motivating staff
- Bar and cellar management
- Complaint handling
- Banking and daily cash reconciliation
- General admin tasks involved in the running of our bar and restaurant

Because of the range of items and services we offer, our managers are never feeling like they’re stuck in a rut. Shift patterns are varied as are the job roles you’ll be undertaking.
All managers will gain a knowledge of stock control / GP / accounting and admin.
The role requires you to work on own initiative, but with great managers and staff around you, you’ll also work through problems as part of the team.
We are independently owned so great ideas will be acted on fast - yet we are big enough to be able to see newly implemented ideas flourish.
We pay a competitive salary for our market, salary can be discussed at an interview depending on experience. Management salary is based off an hourly rate of £13 p/h with a typical rota of 40 hours p/w. On top of this, an equal share in company tips typically makes an additional average of £2.50 per hour, paid via independent TRONC system.
