This post is for 1.0 WTE Specialty Doctor working in NLFT Rehabilitation Services in one of the five boroughs of the Trust, Camden.
It is available from 5 August 2026 for a fixed term of one year. This post is available as it has not been allocated a higher trainee resident doctor this year.
The post-holder will be part of 2 multidisciplinary teams, which provide high quality, holistic care to patients with severe and complex psychosis.

- To provide advice and support to nursing and support staff in the management of patients at 154 Camden Road and Emerald Ward.
- To provide psychiatric input and clinical leadership to the 154 Camden Road and Emerald Ward. To assist with diagnosis, formulation, medication reviews, management plans, risk assessments, crisis plans, and self-help plans as required for patients referred to the team.
- To maintain effective communication with GPs, primary care staff, patients and their carers.
- To work flexibly within timetabled working hours, so that urgent clinical matters can be prioritised.
- To liaise and work closely with other NLFT rehabilitation teams and attend a weekly referrals meeting with other senior rehabilitation clinicians.
- To liaise and work closely with the Local Authority and local voluntary services as part collaborative working arrangements.
- To participate in management activities and governance processes related to the Rehabilitation Services, including audits and quality improvement projects.
- To play an integral role in the performance and further development of the teams and the development of clinical pathways and priorities of rehabilitation services.
General expectations of the specialty doctor include:
- To work within the MDT promoting respect for all professional groups and focusing upon coherent and integrated teamwork.
- To keep up with administration and note-keeping on the electronic patient record system in a timely manner.
- To assist with Serious Incident investigations and complaints if requested.
- To keep up-to-date with mandatory training.
- To attend and participate in business meetings and reflective practice sessions on the ward and at 154 Camden Road.
- Other management/clinical supporting activity (to be negotiated as required by the Trust.)
