Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Static Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the site, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks
- Respond promptly to security incidents or alarms, ensuring appropriate action is taken
- Enforce site policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorised entry
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as required
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies, including administering first aid if qualified
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with colleagues, visitors, and emergency personnel
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
