Job Summary
SHCaunce LTD is looking for a skilled and reliable On-Site Welder/Fitter to join our growing team. The role involves carrying out welding, fabrication, and fitting work on customer sites, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and MMA welding
- Carry out on-site fabrication and installation work
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Assemble, install and repair heavy plant machinery, steel components and structures
- Maintain high safety and quality standards on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder/fitter
- Relevant welding qualifications
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong fabrication and fitting skills
- Good attention to detail
- CSCS card / MPQC desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work away when required
- Occasional Night Shift work when it arises
