Join Our Growing Residential Conveyancing Team
Goldsmiths Solicitors is an ambitious and expanding law firm, and we are looking for a talented and motivated Residential Conveyancer/ Solicitor to join our growing Conveyancing Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years' residential conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
We are seeking a confident professional who can manage their own caseload whilst working collaboratively within a busy and friendly team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the conveyancing process and be committed to delivering an exceptional client experience from instruction through to completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Registered and unregistered properties
- Shared ownership transactions
- New build purchases
- Transfers of equity and related conveyancing matters
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, solicitors and other third parties
- Providing clear, practical advice and regular updates to clients
- Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and proactively
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation and correspondence
- Maintaining high standards of client care and compliance
- Ensuring adherence to Anti-Money Laundering regulations and reporting concerns where appropriate
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the Conveyancing Department
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Qualification as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within residential conveyancing
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong communication and client care skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
