Senior Integrations Manager [Insurance M&A]

We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America.
To develop our integrations capability, we are looking for our first Senior Integrations Manager to lead the successful transition of acquired insurance portfolios and entities into the business.
Reporting to the Head of Business Integration, you will own the delivery of complex integration programmes from deal completion through to business-as-usual, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to commercial objectives. You will also play a key role in supporting transactions before completion through operational due diligence, integration planning and target operating model design.
Lead the end-to-end transition and integration of acquired portfolios and legal entities from deal close to BAU.- Own integration delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve agreed milestones and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients and senior leadership throughout each integration.
- Develop and manage integration plans, governance structures, steering committee, and risk and issue management.
- Ensure operational delivery remains aligned with the commercial objectives of each transaction.
- Support pre-deal operational due diligence by assessing risks, execution challenges and operational impacts.
- Work with functional leaders to develop target operating models and validate operational cost assumptions.
- Translate due diligence findings into practical and deliverable integration plans.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and enhancing integration methodologies and playbooks.
Right to work in this location- Experience within (re)insurance or financial services, involving acquisitions, portfolio transfers or post-deal integrations.
- Proven experience delivering complex integration & transition programmes within an M&A environment
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, including areas such as Claims, Actuarial, Finance, Treasury, Reinsurance and Data.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to balance operational delivery against deal economics.
- Excellent programme management, planning and governance skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders, including C-suite executives and external clients.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results without direct line management authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing executive-level presentation & updates.
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities.
