About the job
Freeflow Concrete Ltd is a family-run business looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Hanbury, Worcestershire.
This is more than just a driving job. You will be driving and operating a volumetric concrete mixer, delivering concrete to customers and assisting with the pouring of concrete on site.
Previous volumetric mixer experience is an advantage but is not essential – full training can be provided for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
- Driving an HGV Class 2 volumetric concrete mixer
- Delivering concrete to customer sites
- Operating the mixer and assisting with pouring concrete
- Carrying out daily vehicle and safety checks
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Keeping the vehicle and mixer clean and well maintained
- Working safely on customer and construction sites
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Looking after the vehicle and equipment as if it were your own
What we’re looking for
You must:
- Hold a valid Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
- Hold a valid Driver CPC
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Have experience driving an HGV
- Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Have good common sense and use your own initiative
- Be confident working independently
- Be practical and willing to learn how to operate the mixer
- Be professional and good with customers
- Take pride in your work and look after company equipment
Experience with volumetric mixers, ready-mix concrete, construction, hydraulics or plant machinery would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
