Senior Pump Service Engineer
We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Service Engineer to work in a fast paced, reactive environment.
The role will involve travelling to various industrial and wastewater sites, there will be some workshop-based repairs also required.
Applicants should hold a full driving licence, as you will be required to drive a company van.
The successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, have a problem-solving attitude and converse with site operatives and customers in a professional manner.
The successful candidate will ideally
· Have experience of working within an industrial and preferably wastewater environment
· Ability to work under pressure.
· A willingness to help and work as part of a team to complete jobs.
· Knowledge of working on all types of fluid systems and rotating equipment.
· Experience of the Wastewater environment would be preferred (not essential)
· Disconnection and connection of single and three phase Industrial motors and controls would be advantageous.
· Diagnose and correct faults with rotating equipment.
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
· Fill in reports on completion of jobs.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week Monday – Friday,
3 pm finish on Fridays.
Overtime when available.
