We are looking for a full time Dental Nurse to work at our Lymington practice. We are a family run mixed dental practice which has recently expanded into a 5 chair surgery and we are looking for someone with the skillset to enhance our patient’s experience. We will offer full training.
Dental Nurse role and responsibilities
- Chair side assistance to the dentist
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Decontamination of all dental instruments
- Supporting the Lead Dental Nurse and admin team with the smooth running of the practice
- Making patients aware of dental services and offers
- Liaising with other dental professionals, referral practices and laboratories
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
Your skills and experience
- Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast paced environment
- The ability to be organise, multitask and be able to work under-pressure
- Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great patient focus
- Efficient with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Previous knowledge of Pearl computer system would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and organisation skills

To be considered for the role the ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a dental practice will be an added advantage. A DBS check and references will be required upon commencing employment.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.15am – 5.30pm with a 1 hour lunch break between 1-2pm.
We offer a very competitive salary based on experience and there is no bar for the right candidate.
