Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Engineer to join our team. Ideally you will be COMCAT’s 1,3 & 5 qualified, and competent to work on all types of equipment that can be found in a commercial kitchen and food servery area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing catering equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the smooth running of our catering facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and a passion for maintenance and engineering within the hospitality sector. The position involves working with various mechanical systems, including air conditioning units, and requires leadership qualities to oversee maintenance projects effectively.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on catering equipment and related systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings to diagnose issues accurately.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of air conditioning systems within catering facilities.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all equipment complies with health and safety regulations and operational standards.
- Support the installation of new equipment and upgrades as required.
Experience
- Proven experience within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and equipment repair procedures.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems, HVAC maintenance

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
