Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Valeter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential, as you will interact with clients and colleagues regularly.
Requirements
Your main responsibilities will be:
Cleaning stock and sold vehicles to a high standard
Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals
Making sure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure at all times, reporting any defects and complying with manufacturers’ instructions and PPE recommendations
Working to set timeframes and targets
Completing a daily record of work completed
Other duties to support our business needs
Duties
- Clean vehicles efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe workplace
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
- Assist in various manual tasks as directed by supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a valeting role is essential
- Ability to drive is advantageous, but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift loads when necessary
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
