About the Role
Starfish 9 Ltd is seeking experienced bricklaying gangs to join our team on a major project in Durham. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse site, applying your skills in masonry and related trades to build durable, high-quality structures.
Duties
The works will involve:
- Carefully removing sections of existing brickwork at floor slab levels and party walls
- Opening up areas to allow fire barriers/fire stopping to be installed
- Reinstating existing brickwork following installation of the fire barriers
- Installing new brickwork where required
- Working in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of workmanship and finish.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
We Are Looking For
- Experienced bricklaying gangs with relevant commercial/project experience
- Gangs experienced in brickwork alterations, removal and reinstatement
- Reliable, well-organised teams able to commit to a long-term project
- Appropriate qualifications including CSCS cards
