We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties
- Prepare and cook dishes within your designated section, maintaining consistency and quality in every plate served
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure uniformity across all menu items
- Assist with food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly used and stored
- Support the training of junior staff members by sharing culinary techniques and best practices
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal specials that align with our culinary vision
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent skills in food presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
Due to rural location, consistent commute to work is essential.
You will also receive pay in lieu of overtime, plus good tronc.
Pay: £25,420.00-£27,500.00 per year
