We are seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Canterburys Nursery Ltd. In this role, you will play a vital part in the development and well-being of young children, fostering their growth through engaging activities and educational experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide high-quality care and support to children in a nursery setting.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative environment.
- Monitor children's progress and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Encourage positive behavior and social interactions among children.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Leadership skills are an advantage but not essential.
