Location: South West London (Applicants must live locally)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per year (experience dependent)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Term-time + Holiday Camps (no evening coaching)
About the Role
Playball is seeking a motivated, energetic, and reliable Early Years Sports Coach to join our coaching team. You will deliver structured sports and movement classes to children aged 18 months to 8 years across nurseries, schools, and public venues in South West London.
This is a rewarding, active role for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys sport, and wants to make a meaningful impact in early childhood development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Playball coaching sessions using our structured curriculum and methodology
- Lead classes across multiple age groups (30–50 minutes per session)
- Build positive relationships with parents, teachers, and schools
- Complete daily attendance registers and child progress reports
- Help run Playball Holiday Camps during school breaks
- Attend training workshops and Playball promotional events
- Assist or lead Playball birthday parties (optional extra earning opportunity)
Requirements
Essential:
- Must live in South West London or within easy commute
- Experience working with young children (nursery, sports coaching, teaching, childcare, etc.)
- Confident, friendly communicator with a positive attitude
- Physically active and comfortable leading energetic sessions
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
Desirable (but not required):
- Sports coaching, childcare, or early years qualification
- Paediatric First Aid or Safeguarding certificate
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to apply)
- Own transport (not essential )

Schedule
- Daytime coaching only (no evenings)
- Monday–Friday full day , Saturday half day + optional weekend parties
- During term time + scheduled Playball camps
