Here at Carb’n-Off we’re one of the UK’s most established and respected specialists in kitchen deep cleaning and grease extract/ductwork hygiene, with over 30 years of consistent success and a rapidly expanding workload. We’re now looking for an Operations Assistant to join is - forget being chained to a desk all day this is a proactive role balancing sharp admin skills with a practical, "get-it-done" attitude in the Central Storage Facility and on-site.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure Operatives are properly equipped by sourcing, organising, and distributing tools and materials needed to perform jobs effectively. (in person and away teams).
- Monitoring, updating and organising Operative training and keeping accurate records.
- Maintaining Equipment/Stock levels within the onsite storage facility, including updating records and ordering.
- Monitoring and managing Operative weekly equipment checks and general H&S monitoring (e.g., ladders)
- Organising MEWP hire / scaffolding hire when required
- Assisting Operations Manager with site spot checks and surveys (including inspecting grease ductwork/plant areas etc.) and compiling follow up reports & audits
- Assisting the Operations Manager with sites where issues are reported to help assess and resolve operational problems where appropriate
- Assist with quotes/follow-on works after cleans and for new sites when needed
- General operational support and ad-hoc duties as required
About You:
· Full UK driving licence and happy to drive for work (deal-breaker)
· Prior experience working in a fast-paced business environment and to strict deadlines
· Ideally have Industry experience or knowledge of commercial kitchen grease extracts.
· Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts
· Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Word) and updating databases accurately
· Strong written and verbal communication skill to able to liaise with Clients, Office and Operatives.
· A practical, proactive mindset: you spot issues before they become problems
· Ideally have industry experience or knowledge of commercial kitchen grease extracts.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
