Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for a friendly, compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join our care team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for others and wants to work in a supportive care home where residents are treated with dignity, respect and kindness.
You’ll work alongside our Senior Care Assistants and management team to provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident.
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

Your role
You will:
- Assist residents with personal care, dressing, mobility and their individual daily needs
- Provide care with dignity, compassion and respect
- Encourage residents to maintain their independence wherever possible
- Follow individualised care plans
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff
- Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support
- Support with medication where appropriately trained and assessed as competent
- Maintain accurate electronic care records
- Support residents with activities and social engagement
- Communicate with residents, relatives, colleagues and healthcare professionals
- Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home
- Follow safeguarding, infection control, health and safety and other relevant procedures
- Work as part of the wider team to maintain a high standard of care
What we're looking for
- A kind, patient and respectful approach to caring for older people
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic IT skills
- Willingness to undertake training and continued development
- Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential
