Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Joiner/Multi-skilled tradesperson to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks across various construction and maintenance projects, demonstrating expertise in carpentry, fabrication, and other trades. Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install bespoke joinery components using hand tools and power tools
- Execute carpentry tasks including roofing, framing, and finishing works with precision
- Perform general construction duties such as masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting as required
- Carry out heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely around the site
- Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any faults promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to construction trades
- Knowledge of roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting is desirable
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or construction trades are advantageous
- A proactive approach to learning new skills and adapting to different project requirements
- Valid UK driving licence is essential
- Own van
