Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our vibrant early childhood education setting. Duties
- Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure excellent childcare delivery
- Oversee daily nursery operations, including planning activities, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop and implement educational programs aligned with early childhood education principles that promote learning through play
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns promptly
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating for children of various ages
- Manage administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, record keeping, and maintaining licensing documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and educational outcomes within the nursery
Experience
- Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team of childcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in nursery care
- Valid driving license preferred for transporting children or supplies as needed
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to health & safety regulations and licensing requirements

Pay: £25,767.25-£42,000.00 per year
