Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team, dedicated to producing high-quality welded ductwork components. In this role, you will join a team of experienced Coded Welder’s to join our team of factory operatives in both our Mild Steel (Mochdre) and Stainless Steel (Kinmel Bay) workshops. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will drive the success of our projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence at every step. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MAG welding of stainless and mild steel components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts accurately
- Read and interpret technical drawings, WPS, WPQRs, and specifications to guide fabrication processes
- Measure materials precisely using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment during assembly
- Fabricate custom metal parts by cutting, bending, welding, and assembling components according to project requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve workflow efficiency
- Liaise with engineers, clients, and third-party inspectors on matters
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG and MAG welding with strong proficiency in welding standards and ISOs
- Solid knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements and layout
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of welding principles, metal properties, and safety practices
- Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment in a manufacturing or workshop setting
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise welds and assemblies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Hours:
Mon – Thursday 8.30am - 5pm Friday 8.30am – 2pm
Full-time, Permanent, Optional Overtime at Premium Rate
Pay: £14.50-£17.00 per hour
