Job summary
Play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely care by keeping our RTT information accurate, reliable, and ready to support high quality treatment.
The RTT Validator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of patient pathway data relating to Referral to Treatment RTT waiting times, supporting the organisation in meeting national waiting time standards and delivering an excellent patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of RTT rules and NHS waiting time guidance, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Main duties, tasks & skills required
Validation of RTT pathways ensuring accuracy of pathways against performance targets, using patient administration systems and hospital data to systems to locate the most up to date information.
Highlighting potential data quality concerns and provide education to other areas.
Providing RTT support to members of staff throughout the Trust
Track patients and highlight any delays to the relevant department
Attend meetings when required and liaise with Operational Managers highlighting potential breaches
Validate Inter-Provider-Transfer forms to ensure start date and RTT Status is correct before sending to receiving Trust
