Summary
We are seeking a Heritage Lime Plasterer to join our dedicated team. Based in the heart of our restoration projects, this role is vital in helping us maintain the integrity and authenticity of historic structures, aligning with our mission to preserve heritage through expert craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and mix lime plaster according to traditional methods.
- Apply lime plaster with precision to restore historic walls.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other craftsmen to ensure project standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
- Contribute to the preservation of architectural heritage through meticulous work.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in heritage lime plastering or related masonry work.
- Skilled in using hand tools, bricklaying, and masonry techniques.
- Knowledge of traditional restoration methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Relevant certifications or training in heritage conservation are a plus.
- Good physical condition and ability to work at heights if necessary.
