General Builder Required
Domestic Renovations | Extensions | Structural Work | Groundworks
We are a family-run building company specialising in full house renovations, single-storey extensions, structural alterations, and high-quality domestic building projects. Alongside this, our sister company designs and supplies mid to high-end kitchens and fitted furniture.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced General Builder to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in residential construction who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship across all stages of a project.
The Role
You will be involved in a wide range of domestic building projects, including:
- House extensions
- Structural alterations and knock-throughs
- Installation of steel beams (RSJs)
- Foundations and groundworks
- Drainage and external works
- Brickwork and blockwork
- Setting out and site preparation
- Concrete works
- Renovation and refurbishment projects
- Working alongside joiners, plasterers, electricians and plumbers
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in domestic building work
- Strong understanding of extension and renovation projects
- Experience with foundations, drainage and groundworks
- Experience carrying out structural alteration works
- Ability to work from drawings and plans
- Good all-round building knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking and professional
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
