HGV Class 2 Driver – Waste Oil & Filter Collections
Salary: £38,500 per year
Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week (no overtime)
We are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role involving the daily collection of waste oil and used filters from garages, workshops, and other commercial customers.
This is a manual position, so applicants should be physically fit and comfortable with lifting and handling waste oil containers and filters. The role is based on a 45-hour working week with no overtime required. Some days will be shorter than others, depending on the collection schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multiple daily collections of waste oil and used filters.
- Provide excellent customer service when visiting customer sites.
- Ensure all collections are completed safely and efficiently.
- Follow all transport, health & safety, and environmental procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and digital records accurately.
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- No more than 3 penalty points.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
- Experience using digital tachographs.
- Previous customer-facing experience.
- Ideally, experience in a multi-drop delivery or collection role.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
