Join our vibrant team as a Yo Sushi Kiosk Team Member and become the face of an exciting, fast-paced dining experience! You’ll be responsible for preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service in a lively kiosk environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sushi and other menu items following established recipes and safety standards
- Serve customers efficiently at the kiosk, taking orders with enthusiasm and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to keep the kiosk running smoothly
- Provide friendly, attentive service by answering questions about menu options and dietary preferences
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment by adhering to health protocols and ensuring food quality at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic kitchen operations
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience in serving or upselling menu items is a plus but not mandatory
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be an advantage for those interested in developing their skills further
